Give & Serve

Give

Jesus teaches that our attitude towards money reflects the focus of our hearts: “For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also” (Matthew 6:21).

Giving is an act of worship and obedience, trusting God as our source (Colossians 3:17). God commands us to give to the church and the ministry of the gospel (1 Corinthians 16:1-2).

As we give for God’s glory—sacrificially, generously, and joyfully—God promises blessings. The one who gives generously will also reap generously (2 Corinthians 9:6). Proverbs 22:9 also highlights the blessings of generosity.
